Fee Schedule

Below are the current fees for using the OpinVera platform. All fees are subject to change with at least thirty (30) days' notice.

1. Core Platform Use

Use of the Platform is free:

• Creating an account: Free
• Creating Polls: Free
• Voting on Polls: Free
• Commenting and basic engagement: Free
• Subscription fees: None. OpinVera does not currently charge subscription fees. If subscription tiers are introduced in the future, they will be announced with at least thirty (30) days' notice and will require your affirmative enrollment before any charge is incurred.

2. Identity Verification Fee

• Identity verification (government-issued ID + selfie, processed by our identity verification provider, currently Stripe Identity) is optional. It is not required to use the Platform; completing it affects only whether your votes carry verified weight.
• Fee: $X.XX, one-time [PLACEHOLDER — see internal/ACTION-ITEMS.md AI-1]. The fee is a single fixed price for all Users and is displayed at the point of purchase before you pay.
• Payment is collected in full before the verification process begins.
• Refunds: The fee is non-refundable where verification fails or is not completed for reasons attributable to you (for example, an abandoned session, illegible, expired, or invalid documents, or a failure to match). Where verification fails for reasons attributable to OpinVera or the verification provider (for example, a service error or outage), we will, at your choice, re-attempt verification at no additional charge or refund the fee. See also Terms of Service Section 9.7.
• The fee is reviewed periodically and may change with at least thirty (30) days' notice; any change applies only to verifications purchased after it takes effect.

3. Payment Processor Fees

Where a transaction is processed by a third-party Payment Processor (currently Stripe) or through an app store's billing system, that processor may charge separate fees under its own terms. These fees are not controlled by OpinVera.

All fees are in USD and exclusive of any applicable taxes.
